Countries participating in a survey on dog health problems completed a lengthy questionnaire about various canine complaints. By the time the U.S., Canada, U.K. and Denmark finished the assessment, there was much in the way of shocking information. An LLC should be operated with a complete separation of personal and business assets. One advantage of forming an LLC is that of pass through taxation status, or income flowing through the entity to the members or owners. In order to maintain the privilege of limited liability protection, the company must adhere to all local, federal, and state laws. The company must also do everything that is required to maintain a good corporate status, pay all required taxes, and file all necessary paperwork.

There are many examples of businesses that don't succeed, and examples of businesses that have management issues and differing opinions between members. Protect your interest by investing the additional time and money and ensure that you have protected your assets. An attorney will be able to guide you and alert you to any pitfalls that may occur. There are many service companies available and this may be a good route for you if you are planning on setting up a single member or multi member LLC. Before you file, do your homework and make sure that you can trust your partners and that you have the proper articles and operating agreement in place.

Understanding the different types of Yoga
Yoga is becoming a more and more popular activity in the Western world today. The number of places holding Yoga classes is on the increase and there is a plethora of different types of Yoga. With a choice of Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Power Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, Bikram Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga and many more it can be easy to get confused
The article will help you to understand the difference between the most popular types of Yoga so you can choose which type is right for you.
Hatha Yoga – in Sanskrit (an ancient classical language of India) “Ha” means “sun” and “tha” means “moon”. This type of Yoga is relatively slow paced, gentle type of Yoga and is a good place to start if you are completely new to Yoga and don’t know any of the asanas (poses). Like all types of Yoga, Hatha Yoga aims to unite the mind, body and spirit.
Ashtanga Yoga – this is the type of Yoga that I practice on a regular basis and means “eight limbs” in Sanskrit. It’s a fast moving, intense style of Yoga practice and is based on a progressive set sequence of asanas, synchronized with the breath. Ashtanga Yoga can be quite physically demanding as you constantly move from one asana in the sequence to the next, so you’ll find that it will improve your stamina as well as your flexibility and strength..
Power Yoga – this is a western interpretation of Yoga and is based on Ashtanga Yoga. A Power Yoga class may not necessarily stick to the exact sequence of poses like Ashtanga Yoga does, but it does involve practicing a series of poses without stopping and starting.
Iyengar Yoga – This type of Yoga is based on teachings by B.K.S Igengar and concentrates on the correct alignment and form of the body. Unlike Ashtanga Yoga, there is an emphasis on holding each pose for a long period of time rather than moving constantly from one pose to the next. Iyengar Yoga uses props such as blocks and straps to help align the body into the different poses.
Vinyasa Yoga – Vinyasa means breath synchronized movement and is another fast paced type of Yoga, with an emphasis on breathing. A practice typically starts with sun salutations and moves on to more intense stretching. Throughout the practice each pose is balanced with a counter pose.
Bikram Yoga – otherwise known as “Hot Yoga”, is practiced in a room heated to 105 degrees, with a humidity of around 40%. Generally a sequence of 26 different poses is practiced during a Bikram Yoga class and the hot temperature helps to loosen muscles. Due to the high temperature most people sweat a lot during the class and this helps to cleanse the body of toxins.
If you’re just starting out or have never done any Yoga before, I recommend trying a few different types of yoga to find out what you like best.
Remember, there’s no rule that says you have to stick to one type of Yoga. I like Ashtanga Yoga best, but I also go to occasional Iyengar and Hatha Yoga classes for a bit of variety.

Hatha Yoga – in Sanskrit (an ancient classical language of India) “Ha” means “sun” and “tha” means “moon”. This type of Yoga is relatively slow paced, gentle type of Yoga and is a good place to start if you are completely new to Yoga and don’t know any of the asanas (poses). Like all types of Yoga, Hatha Yoga aims to unite the mind, body and spirit.
Ashtanga Yoga – this is the type of Yoga that I practice on a regular basis and means “eight limbs” in Sanskrit. It’s a fast moving, intense style of Yoga practice and is based on a progressive set sequence of asanas, synchronized with the breath. Ashtanga Yoga can be quite physically demanding as you constantly move from one asana in the sequence to the next, so you’ll find that it will improve your stamina as well as your flexibility and strength..
Power Yoga – this is a western interpretation of Yoga and is based on Ashtanga Yoga. A Power Yoga class may not necessarily stick to the exact sequence of poses like Ashtanga Yoga does, but it does involve practicing a series of poses without stopping and starting.
Iyengar Yoga – This type of Yoga is based on teachings by B.K.S Igengar and concentrates on the correct alignment and form of the body. Unlike Ashtanga Yoga, there is an emphasis on holding each pose for a long period of time rather than moving constantly from one pose to the next. Iyengar Yoga uses props such as blocks and straps to help align the body into the different poses.
Vinyasa Yoga – Vinyasa means breath synchronized movement and is another fast paced type of Yoga, with an emphasis on breathing. A practice typically starts with sun salutations and moves on to more intense stretching. Throughout the practice each pose is balanced with a counter pose.
Bikram Yoga – otherwise known as “Hot Yoga”, is practiced in a room heated to 105 degrees, with a humidity of around 40%. Generally a sequence of 26 different poses is practiced during a Bikram Yoga class and the hot temperature helps to loosen muscles. Due to the high temperature most people sweat a lot during the class and this helps to cleanse the body of toxins.
If you’re just starting out or have never done any Yoga before, I recommend trying a few different types of yoga to find out what you like best.
Remember, there’s no rule that says you have to stick to one type of Yoga. I like Ashtanga Yoga best, but I also go to occasional Iyengar and Hatha Yoga classes for a bit of variety.

Do Hearing Aids Have a Future
When I was young (oh here we go!) hearing aids were called deaf aids (and could be seen from outer space!).
Was it political correctness or PR spin that made it change?
Did we just want to replace the negativity of being deaf with the positivity of better hearing?
I used to think so, but I was wrong, not totally, but wrong enough.
If it was PR spin then it didn't go far enough.
Why do so many people wear glasses and so few wear hearing aids?
I suppose you could argue that being able to read is the main reason.
Try reading this without your glasses, a significant number of the population couldn't.
There are,however,other reasons.
Spectacles have been given an image. Cool,sexy,intelligent people wear spectacles.
Most people who have a need for glasses, don't hesitate to try them on and see how they look.
Contrast that with the image of hearing aids.
Elderly,uncool,disabled,all negative connotations.
Also, do we need perfect hearing like we need to see for reading and driving? Well,we can get away with a lot more with our hearing...but why should we?
Why should we have to struggle with imperfect hearing.
Why should we have to put up with not following conversations?
Why can't we have superhuman hearing?
We have the technology (and if we don't we ought to have).
I see the future of hearing aids as three fold.
1 A massive PR job to show people how cool having perfect hearing can be.
2 The design capabilities to make this feasible.
3 The technology to make hearing aids to produce hearing that is better than perfect.

Excellence, she says, comes once a person discovers these things and works to change them. “I don’t think excellence has to be difficult. I really define excellence as creating an environment where the propensity to excel is easy.”
Werner knows from experience that anything can be accomplished when you apply these principles. “I had gone through some really tough things in my life…and I just decided to implement and do everything I could to create excellence. Doing so meant forgiveness and releasing judgments.”
Werner’s pursuit of excellence paid off in the form of a new book, Train Wreck to Triumph, as well as a partnership with Dr. Denis Waitley and NFL star Tim Brown to create a kid-safe web browser. She is currently working on a new project called A Question of Change. “The premise is that no matter where you are in life – whether you’re in trauma or grand success – requires focus on getting the right answers. Misapprehend Success
I am writing you to appeal for leniency in the sentencing of Greg Reyes.
He has been found guilty by a Jury for his actions as the CEO of Brocade, a company that he led from infancy to tremendous growth. This success was achieved not by sleight of hand but by diligent effort and satisfied customers.
He led Brocade through explosive growth and depended upon both outside and inside advisers to guide him. He followed their advice which in some cases proved to be wrong. Perhaps he should have ignored it or weighed it more carefully but without the wisdom of age and experience he did not.
He is not a crook. He did not seek to profit from the actions he was found guilty of.
I am not arguing the Jury's findings or the Law but respectively urge consideration of the mitigating circumstances here.

I receive postcards all the time. The other day I received a postcard trying to sell me a copy machine. It had tiny, tiny lettering slathered all over the front and a large portion of the back of the card.
It was extremely hard to read, so hard in fact that I threw it away.
Several days later I received a postcard with 32 words on it telling me that I could get complete information on unrestricted long distance telephone service for 5.5 cents a minute with no additional monthly fee by calling the 800 number on the card.
I did call. I got the information, had my questions answered and ordered my long distance service changed.
The company who offered me the long distance service was using a time tested 2 step selling process:
Step 1. Generate a lead - Get me to call their 800 number.
Step 2. Provide the requested information - Provided to me on the phone by one of their sales representatives, who was able to answer my questions and make me feel confident that I could save quite a bit of money on my long distance bill and that the service would be as good or better.
What's So Good About 2 Steps?
It is much easier to create interest (a lead) than it is to get a person through an entire buying process (a sale).
You aren't getting the prospect or existing customer to part with any money just yet.
You can use postcards to inexpensively promote to your target prospects and customers and generate leads (inquiries about your products and services) to then be followed up on and converted to sales.
This 2 step process also helps you to create a list of people who were interested enough in what you offered to contact you.
You can then recontact the one's who you didn't complete a sale with when they first inquired, preferably until they do buy from you.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to get the information you will need to recontact the people who responded to your postcard offering.
Repetitive follow-ups with the people who contacted you will result in increased sales. Make it a company policy to follow up with those people who contacted you about your products and services.

Alcohol and Family
Throughout the centuries there have been countless stories of the destructive nature of alcohol. Virtually every historical document dealing with the ethics or morality of a nation warns against the abuse of alcohol. Even today, some nations and religious groups go so far as banning the use of alcohol altogether.
It is widely known what happens to the family unit that suffers with the disease of alcoholism. Whether the alcoholic is mother or father, son or daughter, they are a raging hurricane that mercilessly plows through, destroying the lives of everyone in their path. Luckily today, there are places an alcoholic can go to get the help they need and get their lives back on track.
There is some speculation as to who may be prone to becoming an alcoholic. One theory is the predisposition of particular genes in DNA passed down from the parent. It is assumed if the "potential" alcoholic is lacking particular genes, they have a greater chance of becoming alcoholic. In this sense, alcoholism could be classified as a hereditary disease, passing down from generation to generation. But no one knows for sure what makes a person an alcoholic.
The disease of alcoholism and the family is still a very secretive thing in our society today. Most of us have had friends, if not ourselves, who have had/ do have an alcoholic parent or family member. This secret isn't usually shouted from the rooftops but kept under lock and key and hidden away. No one is ever usually too proud to have an alcoholic in their family.
The alcoholic can be an enigma; one moment calm, loving, peaceful and then the next moment (with or without a few drinks) full of rage, hateful and warring. Like a flipping coin, you may never know how it's going to end up. Some like to call it the Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde syndrome. This can cause fear and insecurity in a family that is already on edge and walking on eggshells.
When drinking, the alcoholic can be a loathsome creature who may be physically and/or emotionally abusive; the cause of social embarrassment, predatory, aggressive, the list goes on. They can also be the complete opposite, isolating themselves and being antisocial. They may be emotionally unavailable, extremely depressed and full of self-pity. Sadly these behaviors can continue on for months, years, and if they never seek help, for the rest of their lives.
The alcoholic is usually the center of attention for the family, needing attention and rarely contributing or giving back and always in trouble or in a crisis. Over time, this wears deeply on the family members and, in a sense, they become sick themselves. If the alcoholic is having a good day, the family is having a good day. If the alcoholic is having a bad day, the family is having a bad day. This is codependence which commonly develops among family members of an alcoholic.
Luckily there are support groups for family members who live, or have lived, with an alcoholic. There are numerous programs available like: Al Anon for family members of an alcoholic; Ala-teen for teenagers of alcoholics and ACoA for adult children of alcoholics. If you have lived with or do live with an alcoholic, there are others like you who now live happy and purposeful lives. You are not alone.
